SACHA INCHI CAPSULE
Sacha Inchi is a perennial plant native to Central and South America. Often referred to as Inca nuts, these large seeds are consumed by indigenous people in Peru, where it has been a staple food for over 6,000 years. It grows in warm climates up to altitudes of 1,700 meters (5,500 feet) as long as there is continued availability of water and good drainage. It grows better in acidic soils and alluvial flats near rivers. The plant typically reaches a height of 2 metres, with alternate, heart shaped, serrated leaves. Rich in omega-3 6 9, Sacha Inchi oil has a mild flavour with a nutty finish.
